History:
Shizusumi is a foster kid; while it is not stated one would assume he spent time going from home to home. During his childhood, he finally moved to what must have been a permanent home as he met Hiiragi, Yuki, and Mafuyu and the four became a world all their own. But inside this world, Mafuyu and Yuki fit like puzzle pieces together. This left Shizu and Hiiragi together quite often and the two developed a deep bond, Hiiragi often dragging the quieter Shizu along or pestering him. They remain friends through middle school and high school. All of the boys except Mafuyu go to the same high school and form a band, this leads to a fight between Mafuyu and Yuki and Yuki commits suicide. Mafuyu drifts away from Shizu and Hiiragi. When Hiiragi wants to restart the band Shizu goes along because it is revealed later, he would do anything, include throw his own future away to be beside the other boy. The three friends eventually reconnect, so by his canon point he is once again speaking to Mafuyu who is the only person he has to date revealed his feelings about Hiiragi.
It should be noted, Shizu and Hiiragi's band won the CAC and took the chance to debut, because of Yuki's death they have been using stand-in guitarists and are currently working with Mafuyu's new boyfriend Uenoyama Ritsuka.
Personality: Hiiragi whisper...
Shizu is a quiet guy who seems to be there mostly for moral support for his friends. Mainly Hiiragi. Growing up the way he did, he would have issues with trusting people quickly and with expressing himself as far as feelings go. Meeting his three childhood friends would have given him a safe space and still with them most times he seems to just be going with the flow. When he does speak it's usually to answer when Hiiragi won't or to comfort the other. It is never said in canon in so many words but Yuki's suicide would have left a wound in Shizu; because he was the orbit of their friend group and without him the drifted from Mafuyu. For a guy with his background, these things may not show on the surface but it cuts deep.
However, the times we do see Shizu have a conversation or inner thoughts, he is a very serious young man. Responsible he takes care of his friend while hiding how he really feels because he believes the other loved someone else. Such is the size of his heart and kindness that he'll accept this and put his own future aside to support the other. Showing that while he seems to be relaxed, serious but not really connected as if keeping himself in a box to stay safe he in fact cares far deeper than he can ever admit because admitting it means making himself vulnerable.
Permissions
Hugging: Yes He may or may not hug back; he may or may not allow it. It will all depend but go ahead and do it.
Flirting: Yes, not likely to flirt back but again go for it.
Fighting: Yes, nothing too crazy though he's a regular guy
Injury/Death: Yes to a minor injury, no to death.
In regards to shipping, I will gladly do it, if it is not Hiiragi we can AU it up, just let me know. Or have it be some guilt-ridden thing because he can't have what he wants, I mean it's up to you but it's all good here.
